Local Area - Llandudno, Conwy and Coastal North Wales
The St Georges is perfectly located for you to explore Llandudno and North Wales.
Situated at the heart of the town, right by the sea, promenade and the prom, with the Great Orme in the immediate background we're in close proximity to all the main attractions.
On the Great Orme itself, there is much to do. You can venture all the way to the top of the Orme with the Great Orme Tramway, which is just one of the great ways to see the spectacular views of Llandudno. The more daring can try the Cable Cars. Up on the Orme there is Llandudno's Ski & Snowboard centre, great for all the family and the Great Orme's Mining Experience.
Within Llandudno there are many more attractions including Venue Cymru and Little Orme which is just a short walk away from the hotel. Along the promenade, towards the is the Adventure Farm, fun for all the family and an open paddling pool with a children's play area, right by the sea, a lovely way to spend a summer's day. On the other side of Llandudno is Westshore, the opposite coastline, with a clear, quiet beach and spectacular views of Snowdonia and Conwy.
Just outside of Llandudno are many more attractions, including Conwy Castle, an excellent family day out. Or of course there's the delight of Snowdonia's National Park, definitely worth a visit. Other attractions that might interest you include
- Portmeirion Village
- Golf by Arrangement
- Pony Trekking
- Victorian Extravaganza
- Greenwood Forest Park
- Welsh Mountain Zoo
There is much more to Llandudno, more than we can mention. The St Georges is at the heart of it all, an ideal base for you to relax and explore from.
If you fancy something different then the hotel can advise and arrange some alternative activities for you during your stay. Instead of riding donkeys on the beach you might fancy pony trekking, or if walking around the Orme is just not good enough, then why not try Snowdonia? Visit Llandudno
